‘Tinder Swindler’ firm Raw recruits Netflix’s Jonny Taylor as creative director

Raw, the UK factual production company behind The Tinder Swindler and Three Identical Strangers has hired Netflix’s Jonny Taylor as creative director.

Taylor will take up his new role in December, joining the senior leadership team, and working alongside Raw founders Dimitri Doganis and Bart Layton, as well as creative director Liesel Evans and EVP of US factual programming, Sam Maynard.

He joins the All3Media-backed Raw after five years as director of original documentaries at global streamer Netflix, where he worked with the production company on factual titles including Don’t F**k With Cats: Hunting An Internet Killer, The Tinder Swindler, The Puppet Master: Hunting The Ultimate Conman, The Ripper and Vatican Girl: The Disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi.

During his time at the streamer, Taylor also brought factual titles such as Tiger King, American Murder: The Family Next Door and Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story to the screen.

London-based Raw is also the production company behind the shows Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy and  Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico, as well as Get Gotti, Parole and Gold Rush.
