’30 Coins’ producer Pokeepsie hires Netflix Iberia exec as GM

Banijay-backed 30 Coins producer Pokeepsie Films has named Netflix exec Adrián De Belva as its GM.

De Belva was most recently legal coordinator for the streamer in Spain and Portugal, and before that was part of the original Movistar Plus+ production team that produced The Plague, Giants and La Unidad.

He also worked at Canal+, where he was manager for territorial sales and distribution, developing and executing its commercial strategy.

Pokeepsie, which was acquired by Banijay Iberia in 2022, was launched in 2009 by Álex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang. It focuses on youth-skewing content across fantasy, thriller, and horror genres.

Iglesia said: “With the signing of Adrián, those of us who occupy the artistic and creative trenches can relax knowing Pokeepsie Films has a robust executive and financial management team in place.”
