Chatterbox hires Vice Media exec as production head

Rosie Taylor

UK factual prodco Chatterbox has appointed Vice Media Group’s Rosie Taylor as head of production.

Reporting to Chatterbox co-founder Ali Quirk, Taylor takes up her role with immediate effect and is responsible for overseeing the company’s growing slate of factual content for broadcasters and platforms, as well as supporting company operations and introducing processes to help fuel Chatterbox’s growth.

Taylor joins Chatterbox from her role as Vice Media Group’s head of production in Europe, which she was appointed in 2020. Taylor originally joined the company as head of production UK in 2018 managing output across VICE Studios, digital and news.

She oversaw a number of projects, including: MH370: The Enigma of the Lost Flight for Paramount+, Dirty Tricks for Channel 5, Matty Matheson’s God Save the Food for E4 and Beat the Internet for UKTV. Prior to Vice, Taylor was a production executive at the BBC.

Founded in 2017 by former Channel 4 commissioner Nav Raman and popular factual series producer Ali Quirk, Chatterbox is behind titles including Leaving Care for BBC iPlayer, Meet The Khans for BBC Three, Not Just A Boy In A Dress (CBBC) and Sally Lindsay’s Posh Sleepover for Channel 5.

“The Head of Production role is crucial in enabling us to fulfil our ambitions, making sure we have everything in place to support both our creative process and our team, as we grow.  Rosie is one of the most talented production leads in the UK and her approach puts people first in everything she does,” said Quirk.
