Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has ordered a six-part crime docuseries exploring some of the most brazen robberies of the past 25 years, with the show set to drop first on Discovery+ then WBD’s linear network Quest.

Inside The Heist (working title, 6 x 60 minutes) is being produced by Twenty Six 03 and will feature intricately planned heists including the Dunbar Security Job, Millennium Dome, Hatton Garden, Antwerp Diamond, Stockholm Helicopter, and Rio Banco Double Bluff.

Each episode will look at a singular heist using input from ex-criminals and law enforcement, criminologists, security specialists and legal supremos. Visceral reconstructions, security footage, news and police archive will unpack each step of the heist and offer insight into the workings of some of the most infamous crimes.

The show will drop on Discovery+ in the UK in November this year, followed by a launch on Quest at an unnamed date, with an international release to follow.

The show was ordered by Simon Downing, SVP of marketing, head of factual & docs UK, and commissioned by Victoria Noble, VP of factual commissioning, and executive produced by Jon Stephens.
