Canada’s Go Button boosts production & development teams as slate doubles

L-R: Robin Webster, Sarah Hewitt, Stephanie Baird & Rebecca Costa

Canadian factual prodco Go Button Media has made four promotions to bolsters its production and development teams.

The move comes as the Toronto-based company prepares to more than double the number of hours produced in 2021 this year and includes the elevation of Robin Webster, previously director of development to VP of development and casting.

Sarah Hewitt, meanwhile, is replacing Webster as director of development, upped from manager of development.

Together, the two execs will drive the development of new IP and talent for the business, including recently announced series such as Forgotten Frontlines, Colossal Machines and Mysteries Of The Ancient Dead.

Stephanie Baird has also been promoted from line producer to director of production, while Rebecca Costa is elevated to director of post-production, having previously served as post supervisor.

Baird, who was line producer for Go Button’s Secret Nazi BasesThe Animal Within, Phantom Signals, A World Without NASA and Call Me Mother, will oversee the company’s production slate both in Canada and internationally, while Costa will supervise the expansion of the company’s edit team, post schedules, network deliveries and systems.

Go Button founders and executive producers, Daniel Oron and Natasha Ryan, commented: “As Go Button continues to find international success and growth, we are thrilled that this outstanding team of production professionals, who have been with us since our earliest projects, will continue to drive the company into a thriving 2022 and a dynamic new chapter of production and partnerships.”
