Reed Midem owners RX France and MIP Markets are to launch OneMIP, an online business networking platform and content showcase that will compliment MIP events all year round.
Sitting alongside MIP’s physical markets – MIPCOM, MIPTV, MIP China, MIP Cancun and MIP Africa – the new service is aimed at buyers, distributors and content producers.
Launching on 6 December 2021 in beta form for a limited number of invited applicants, OneMIP aims to help to connect executives from all over the world, as well as provide data and analytics alongside a database of business contacts and a programming showcase.
The announcement follows the disruption to physical markets in 2020 and 2021 caused by the pandemic, that saw many physical events pivot to online-only, including MIP events – although MIPCOM is currently taking place in Cannes this week after its hiatus last year.
