SF Studios hires TrustNordisk’s Silje Nikoline Glimsdal for acquisitions & co-pros

SF Studios in the Nordics has appointed Silje Nikoline Glimsdal as senior acquisition manager.

Glimsdal will join the company on 1 November and will be based in its Copenhagen office, taking a focus on SF Studios’ Nordic acquisitions and co-productions, as well as the company’s international acquisition slate.

She will report to Fredrik Warstedt, EVP acquisition & licensing and work closely with Yaba Holst, head of Nordic acquisition.

Glimsdal started her career as an intern at Zentropa in 2009 and went on to join their international sales team at TrustNordisk in Denmark, where she was also responsible for incoming projects, scripts, and development as project manager.

“We are very happy that Silje has decided to join the SF Studios team. I am convinced that her background and experience combined with her personality will be a great contribution in our work to develop more screenplays, stories and ideas in our ambition to be involved in even more films and TV series in the Nordic countries,” commented Warstedt.

“I have been working with fantastic colleagues and friends at TrustNordisk for more than a decade. Although it is sad to leave, I am thrilled to take on a new and exciting journey with SF Studios and their team,” said Glimsdal.
