Woodcut Media names Attaboy TV exec to lead development
UK factual producer Woodcut Media has appointed Attaboy TV’s Jo Enyori to a newly created position overseeing development.
Enyori becomes head of development, effective immediately, and reports to Woodcut’s CEO Kate Beal.
She will work across the Woodcut group, including Woodcut Media, Bristol-based Woodcut West and sales arm Woodcut International, with a focus on developing factual content.
Enyori was most recently in the same role at Attaboy TV, where she worked on true crime, natural history, space, engineering and lifestyle formats.
Prior to that, she has worked in development departments at Acme Films, Hunch Media, Transparent Television and Barcroft Productions, with commissions on Inside The Ku Klux Klan for the UK’s Channel 4, Hitched In Vegas for the UK’s 5 Star and Lifetime in the US, and Babies Behaving Badly for Discovery.
Beal said: “Hiring a head of development has been on our radar for a while, especially since the launch of our Bristol-based operation. It’s great to have Jo join our team. She is a very talented executive whose extensive credits and strong industry relationships in the UK and internationally will make a striking contribution to our business as we continue to move into our next phase of growth.”
Enyori added: “Woodcut is a very diverse, innovative and well-respected production company and I have long admired their output. I am really looking forward to working with Kate and her senior team across the group’s businesses and developing the next wave of Woodcut returnable series.”
