Studio Lambert promotes Maddie Sinclair, hires Mammoth Screen exec

All3Media-backed Studio Lambert has promoted its head of development Maddie Sinclair to become an executive producer at the company, and hired an exec from fellow UK prodco Mammoth Screen to take her previous role.

Sinclair joined Studio Lambert in 2016 from BBC Studios and is being replaced by James Gandhi, who becomes head of development.

He was most recently script editor at Mammoth Screen, where he worked on Fearless and Vanity Fair for ITV and The City & The City and Noughts & Crosses for the BBC.

Studio Lambert is about to start shooting on the Nicole Taylor-penned, five-part thriller The Nest for BBC One, about an affluent Glaswegian couple and their relationship with the young woman whom they want to be a surrogate for their child.

The prodco is also working on sci-fi series The Feed, which will premiere in the US on Amazon Prime and in the UK on Virgin Media. The latter is owned by telco giant Liberty Global, which has a 50% stake in Studio Lambert parent All3.

Earlier this month, Sara Murray took the newly created role of head of scripted TV at All3 sibling Raw, having most recently been an exec producer on The Feed while at Studio Lambert.
