Armoza’s ‘Conflict’ heads to Poland

Polish producer Rochstar has acquired the local rights to Israeli formats firm Armoza’s fact ent offering The Conflict.

The social experiment, originated by Israeli producer and format creator Eran B.Y and Armoza Formats, gives individuals who have been unwilling to meet for years the chance to see their dispute from a new perspective.

Two well-known actors will represent each side of the story, having met with their real-life counterparts to learn how to embody them on stage. They will bring the conflict to life through an enactment that simulates a pivotal moment in the relationship, while the real parties observe from the sidelines.

Armoza launched The Conflict at last month’s MIPTV market in Cannes.

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, said: “The Conflict provides a game-changing emotional element in the way it allows both participants and at-home viewers to change their perspective on situations through a dramatic theater performance. We are delighted that Rochstar has taken the local rights to the show and will offer this unique platform to reunite those who have been torn apart by conflict.”
