In-demand chart: Turkey (February 12-18, 2018)
Turkey’s latest weekly demand data shows a preference for non-digital original series such as The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones.
The Walking Dead (TWD), which took the top spot, received over three times the demand expressions than digital original Stranger Things did in the overalls list.
TWD received over 16 million demand expressions, while Stranger Things received 5.5 million.
Furthermore, Turkish original Resurrection: Ertugrul received over two million more demand expressions than Stranger Things, which came in on the seventh spot.
Spanish original La Casa De Papel came in second place, gaining over twelve million demand expressions. It was followed by Shameless in third place and Vikings in fourth.
Game of Thrones came in fifth place with near-nine million demand expressions and the tail end of the list features Black Mirror, Turkish period drama Vatanım Sensin (Wounded Love) and Supernatural in the final place.
Stranger Things was the top digital original in the top ten, meaning all demand expressions fell below 5.5 million for the shows under it. This is a big comparable difference from the overall originals list.
Black Mirror follows in second place on the digitals list, with Narcos and Netflix newbie Altered Carbon joining in third and fourth place, respectively.
CBS All Access original Star Trek: Discovery came in fifth place, with Sense8 following in sixth and 13 Reasons Why in the seventh spot.
European titles Dark and The End Of The F…ing World achieved around 1.7 million demand expressions in eighth and ninth place. Marvel’s The Punisher finalises the list.
