Story Lab expands in CEE

UK-based distributor The Story Lab has launched a Ukrainian office.

The Story Lab Ukraine is the latest office launch for the Dentsu Aegis Network-owned distribution company.

Illiya Rzhondkivsky and Pavel Cherepin will lead the base as managing director and content and development director respectively.

Both previously worked at Dentu Aegis, Rzhondkivsky as head of sponsorship and Cherepin as content director.

“Ukraine is a growing market and is becoming a more and more influential part of the CEE region with a variety of formats and series being produced and sold locally,” said Story Lab global president Michael Iskas (pictured).

“We look forward to developing our offering and growing our partnerships with local producers, broadcasters and brands.”

Earlier this year, Story Lab parent Dentsu Aegis bought into UK-based online talent management firm Gleam Futures.

The Story Lab has offices in territories such as Portugal, the Netherlands and Ireland, and hired a number of well known execs as its ad agency parent pushes into content ownership and distribution.
