E!’s programming chief Olde exits
Jeff Olde is leaving NBCUniversal (NBCU)’s US cable channel E!.
No replacement has been named for Olde, who was executive VP of programming and development.
In that post, he had worked up series such as scripted shows The Arrangement and The Royals, and unscripted programmes including Hollywood Medium, WAGS, Mob Wives and Botched.
Olde’s departure comes a year after Adam Stotsky was named president of E! Entertainment, which is part of NBCU Cable Entertainment.
Olde joined E! five years ago from Viacom’s VH1, where he worked on the music-focused cable channel’s programming slate.
Announcement of his exit came in an internal memo yesterday in the US.
