360 Powwow to distribute Sex Tape in Lat Am
Miami’s Powwow 360 has acquired Latin American distribution rights to Armoza Formats’ Sex Tape.
The deal covers Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia, and comes with the caveat that celebrity sexologist Alessandra Rampolla will host future adaptations.
She is best known for series such as Fox Life’s School for Husbands and School for Mothers in Law, and her shows have aired in 22 Latin American territories, plus the US and UK.
Tel Aviv-based Armoza recently launched a Latin American office in a bid to ramp up business in the region.
The firm has been shopping Sex Tape after Dr Shelly Varod pitched it at the Formagination event last year, and officially launched it at MIPTV.
The format has three couples film their lives together – including their love life – over a week. The couples then meet in person and share the tapes, with a sex therapist guiding the session.
