Netflix plots Trump advisor doc

Netflix’s latest original is Get Me Roger Stone, a feature doc about the eponymous political spin doctor.

Stone has worked with current US president since the 1980s – he left the election campaign in 2015 but remains a Trump supporter.

In a long political career he has also worked under the Nixon and Reagan administrations and set up his own advisory business.

He was also the youngest person to be called before the Watergate inquiry.

Get Me Roger Stone will trace the rise of the political mover and shaker and debut at the Tribeca Film Festival next month.

Morgan Pehme, Daniel DiMauro, and Dylan Bank are directing.

The doc will bow on Netflix globally this spring.
