Sales veteran Patel upped at Warner Bros.
Roni Patel has been upped to senior VP at the distribution arm of Hollywood studio Warner Bros.
She is now SVP, sales, Nordic, Benelux and Middle East at Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Distribution (WBITD).
In the new role, she continues to report to Robert Blair, executive VP, Europe, Middle East and Africa, WBITD.
Patel sells Warner Bros.’ series and features across free and pay TV, as well as digital platforms.
She was upped to VP in 2009, having joined Warner Bros. in 2007 after an eleven-year stint at Disney.
“Roni is a smart, savvy and strategic sales executive,” said Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, president, WBITD.
“She has done an admirable job at navigating the complex evolving television landscapes by identifying, developing and managing new windows and business models to grow our businesses.”
It has been a busy week at Warner Bros.’ European operations with Fredrik Hillerbrand joining to run Danish production, and Alexia Edwards joining from ITV as commercial director of the UK production division. Also in the UK, and within WBITD, Alison Morris has been upped to SVP.
