Bomanbridge acquires high-end docs
Asia-based Bomanbridge has picked up regional distribution rights to a series of blue chip docs from French photographer, journalist and naturalist Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
Singapore-based Bomanbridge will bring the six-strong selection of films to market in Asia after inking a deal with Calt, which reps Hope Productions, Arthus-Bertrand’s France-based prodco, which specialises in environmental films.
The package includes aerial photography films Morocco From Above, Mediterranean From Above, Algeria From Above (pictured), and Bangladesh From Above.
“Bomanbridge is extremely pleased to add these exquisite Yann Arthus-Bertrand documentaries to our rich catalogue,” said said Sonia Fleck, CEO of Bomanbridge Media.
“We pride ourselves on holding blue-chip programming, and catering to distinguished Asian audiences that value education and fine production values.”
“We were looking for the best partner in Asia to distribute our exceptional programs which deserve a wider audience, and we were pleased to find Bomanbridge – the best in the region,” added Dimitri Gelineau, sales manager at Calt Distribution, which holds the rights for the rest of the world.
