A+E ups Amanda Hill
A+E Networks has promoted Amanda Hill 14 months after she joined the US cable channel business.
Hill has stepped up to chief marketing officer, having been chief creative officer, which was a new role at A+E.
She will oversee brand strategy, and consumer and business marketing in the US and internationally across A+E brands in linear TV, D2C and OTT.
She joined from BBC Worldwide last year, relocating to New York. At Worldwide she was chief brands officer, working on shows including Top Gear and Strictly Come Dancing.
Hill will report direct to A+E chief executive Nancy Dubuc, who said: “As the lead creative on the International team, Amanda has been a game changer in terms of bolstering our creative acumen around the world and helping to further establish A+E Networks as leaders in the global content marketplace.”
