BBC One discovers Ingenious Animals
UK broadcaster BBC One has commissioned a 4x60mins about amazing animal behaviour around the world.
Ingenious Animals will come from Twofour Group prodco Oxford Scientific Films and debut on September 1 in an 8pm slot.
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Lucy Cooke, Patrick Aryee and Giles Clark will produce the series, which will feature animal behaviour from around the world and shed light on our understanding of it.
“OSF brings their distinctive visual flare to a whole new world of animal behavior,” said BBC natural history and specialist factual formats commissioning editor Craig Hunter. “It is truly sumptuous viewing that will have the audience laughing and crying in equal measure.”
Twofour Rights will shop the series internationally.
