Vibrant TV hires acquisitions chief

US pay TV net Vibrant has hired Jessica Hoyt as its head of acquisitions.

Hoyt is currently in the ad sales division of the Zephyr Media Group, the company behind Vibrant.

At the pay channel she will oversee acquisitions, as well as working on scheduling.

Zephyr is a Chicago-based media agency and headed up the consortium behind Vibrant, which launched in 2012 and is carried on satellite and Smart TV and OTT platforms in the US.

The channel is programmed with lifestyle, reality, kids and entertainment programming, which is sourced from the international market.

Hoyt will report to Zephyr and Vibrant CEO Dan Zifkin. “Jessica is a skilled and focused executive with outstanding instincts for programming that matches the mandate of Vibrant TV and our viewers,” he said.

Hoyt will oversee buying for Vibrant and retain her current ad sales responsibilities at Zephyr.

Zifkin added: “Her depth of experience in advertiser sales also serves as a major plus as Jessica understands the unique needs of advertisers when it comes to making program acquisitions and scheduling decisions.”
