Netflix orders series from Bratz prodco
Netflix has picked up Project Mc², a new kids series about four young super smart young girl scientists recruited to a secretive spy organisation.
The live-action show will be made by MGA Entertainment and AwesomenessTV, the online kids platform now owned by DreamWorks, a key production partner for Netflix.
The new series will roll out on Netflix early next month. The US-based streaming service said that the action and adventure will be rooted in S.T.E.A.M (science, technology, engineering, art, maths) principles.
MGA originally announced the series in June. At the time it said the show wll launch in tandem with a new toy doll figure line and associated shortform content AwesomenessTV.
