eOne staffs up US reality division

Entertainment One has made several hires at its US unscripted division.

The Transatlantic producer and distributor has brought on reality producer Mark Herwick (pictured) and new development execs, Ben Megargel and Jesse Daniels.

Herwick becomes head of current, US alternative programming at eOne. A seasoned reality producer, his credits include Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares for Fox and Disney Channel’s popular prank show Code: 9. He will work across eOne’s existing slate of unscripted shows as well as its upcoming shows.

Megargel joins from indie producer Karga Seven Pictures and his credits include Discovery’s Cry Wolfe, and Weather Channel’s Tornado Alley.

Daniels comes to eOne from All3Media prodco Maverick where he was manager of development. He previously worked at Mark Burnett’s One Three Media.

In another change in the development team, Elliot Schwartz is upped to manager of development. Prior to eOne he was at E! Entertainment and Warner Horizon Television.
