Maxdome CEO to exit
German VOD service Maxdome is saying goodbye to its CEO for the second time in four months.
Lesley MacKenzie, who is also executive VP of entertainment at Maxdome parent ProSiebenSat.1, is leaving the business to pursue other opportunities in the on-demand space.
Her departure from ProSiebenSat.1’s E-Entertainment division comes just four months after she replaced the previous incumbent, Andreas Heyden.
The vastly-experienced MacKenzie counts top digital posts at Lovefilm (now Amazon Prime Instant Video), Sky, Star TV, TV Asia and News Corp on the CV, as well as more recently holding jobs at UK media regulator Ofcom and Engage Sports Media.
She joined ProSiebenSat.1 in February last year.
Christof Wahl, who joined ProSiebenSat.1 from German cable company Kabel Deutschland at the same time MacKenzie became Maxdome CEO, will now replace her.
