ProSieben hands former Sky, Lovefilm exec digital role

Lesley Mackenzie, the former group digital officer of streaming site Lovefilm, has landed a role overseeing German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s digital operations.

Mackenzie will lead a slate of assets including on-demand video sites Maxdome and Studio71 as executive VP of ProSieben’s E-Entertainment division.

Mackenzie left Amazon-owned Lovefilm in 2012 and has since held consultancy roles and a COO post at Engage Sports Media. Her previous roles include executive VP at News Corp (aka 21st Century Fox)’s Indian joint venture Star and director of channels and operations a UK satcaster BSkyB. She was also interim CEO of the doomed Project Kangaroo on-demand venture of BBC Worldwide, Channel 4 and ITV.
