Eurosport to show Wiggins’ hour attempt
Eurosport has signed on as the official broadcast partner for Sir Bradley Wiggins’s attempt at breaking the cycling hour record.
Cycling is a core area of coverage for Discovery-owned sport channel operator Eurosport the deal with the sport’s governing body, the UCI, means it will show Wiggins hour attempt across Europe, excluding the UK, where rights reside with Sky.

Eurosport will televise it throughout the rest of Europe and exclusively in France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and Spain.
Former Tour de France winner Wiggins’s attempt to break the record set by fellow countryman Alex Dowsett in February starts at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 7.
