Cyber does digital deals
Paris based producer and distributor Cyber Group Studios has struck a number of deals with SVOD and digital platforms.
In the US, Hulu has acquired Cyber’s 104x11mins CGI series Zou (pictured). The first season of the series will also be available on US kids SVOD service PlayKids TV.
Also in the US, Kabillion has taken 78x7mins animated series Ozzie Boo and 78x7mins Mademoiselle Zazie and both will launch next month on the kid-skewed free-VOD service.
In France, Canal+ has picked up a six-series package for its digital CanalPlay service and titles include Zou, Manon and Cloud Bread.
“Nowadays children increasingly use portable devices and on-demand digital offerings which makes the market more dynamic and more competitive at the same time,” said Pierre Sissmann, the chairman and CEO of Cyber Group Studios. “Cyber Group Studios will keep on pushing further into the kids SVOD market.”
