Foxtel, Seven, ABC feel factual Passion
Major Australian television groups have acquired content from Passion Distribution.
Pay TV operator Foxtel has bought 200 hours, including Charlie Luxton’s Homes By the Sea (pictured). Pubcaster the ABC has taken docs such as Britain’s Poshest Nannies and The Batman Shootings.
Seven network, meanwhile, has taken shows such as World’s Angriest, while Nine Network has acquired My Online Bride.
BBC Worldwide Australia and New Zealand has bought Derek, while Life’s Too Short has gone to Comedy Central.
New Zealand pubcaster TVNZ several Mentorn Media titles including All Creatures Great and Stuffed, while compatriot Living Channel has acquired 230 hours, including Selling Houses and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth is.
