Indigo investigates Strange Criminal Addictions for Discovery

Investigation Discovery has ordered My Strange Criminal Addiction, a new factual series about people who have bizarre compulsions that lead to criminal acts.

UK-based prodco Indigo Films, producer of Wives with Knives and Campus Nightmares, is making the series, which will bow on Discovery’s Crime and investigation net next month.

The series will be fronted by addiction specialist Dr. Mike Dow and feature some of the perpetrators of the unusual criminal acts.

The criminals profiled include a woman who robs graveyards to satisfy her obsession with carved angels, an elderly man obsessed with drinking the urine of young boys and a man who performs castrations on willing men.
