Discovery secures Xilam output deal in Italy

Discovery Networks Western Europe in Italy has secured an output deal with French animation studio Xilam.

The comprehensive agreement hands Discovery’s local kids channel, which include boys-skewed K2, 14 series totaling 450 hours of programming.

This comprises 250 hours of library shows such as Oggy and the Cockroaches, 120 hours currently in production and 80 new Xilam series, which are planned for 2015 and 2016.
