BSkyB’s over-the-top service Now TV has added its pay-monthly TV and movie packages to its Apple TV app in the UK.
Apple TV users can now sign up for the Now TV Entertainment Month Pass and the Sky Movies Month Pass, which will cost £6.99 (US$11.46) and £9.99 per month respectively from October 16.
The Entertainment Pass gives users access to 13 pay TV channels available on Sky, including Sky 1, Sky Atlantic and Fox, as well as access to box-sets of shows including Lost, The West Wing and Mad Men (pictured) and Hannibal.
The Sky Movies Month Pass offers more than 800 movies, including recent titles like Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Saving Mr Banks and Philomena.
Sports fans can also continue to Sky Sports via Now TV’s Sky Sports Day Pass on Apple TV, which is priced at £6.99 for 24 hours access.
“Great news for Apple TV users today as we bring our range of Now TV passes to the service. There’s never been a better time to get stuck into gripping box sets like The Walking Dead or The West Wing, right from the very first episode, plus get unlimited access to hundreds of the latest award-winning movies like American Hustle – straight to your main TV screen,” said Gidon Katz, director of Now TV.
