News brief: Food Fighters has European options

Electus has optioned its Food Fighters format to production companies in Germany, Sweden and the Middle East.

The show is on broadcast net NBC in the US. Hosted by Man vs Food star Adam Richman, it pits amateur cooks against professional chefs as they attempt to cooks the contestants’ family recipes.

Endemol has optioned the format in Germany and Nice in Sweden. In the Middle East, Creative Ventures has taken an option.

Endemol has already optioned the show in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
