The FYI channel is launching in Canada as part of Shaw Media’s bouquet of specialty channels.
The channel, which is owned and run by A&E in the US and Shaw in Canada, will target female Canadian viewers with lifestyle shows including.
The new net will rollout in Canada at start-September. Cable operator Rogers will offer a month-long free preview of the service.
FYI replaces the Bio channel. In the US, A&E launched it this summer.
