News brief: Disney XD orders more Avengers and Hulk

Disney’s boy-skewed cable net Disney XD has ordered news seasons of Marvel’s Avengers Assemble and Marvel’s Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.

The deal, announced at Comic-Con over the weekend, will see both shows get second outings on XD, starting this autumn.

Both of the animated shows are already in production and will go out on XD’s Marvel Universe block.

Marvel’s Avengers Assemble is Disney XD’s top animated series. Both series will also go out on the international XD channels.
