CME appoints permanent CFO
CEE-focussed broadcast group CME has confirmed David Sturgeon as its permanent CFO.
Sturgeon has been serving in the role since late 2013 and will now take the role on a full-time basis. He steps up from his previous role of deputy CFO having originally joined CME in 2005 as group financial controller.
The appointment comes following wide-ranging management changes at CME, which is now majority backed by Time Warner. Sturgeon replaces David Sach who left CME last year.
In a joint statement Michael Del Nin (pictured) and Christoph Mainusch, Co-CEOs of CME, said: “We are pleased to finalize this key appointment in the management team. The depth of Dave’s knowledge of the Company and its operations has been instrumental to our progress in improving the efficiency of our businesses.”
