Crime + Investigation launches in Mozambique and Angola
Crime + Investigation (CI) has launched in the Portuguese-speaking African countries of Mozambique and Angola on pay TV platform DStv.
The Portuguese language channel is operated by History in Iberia, a joint venture between A+E Networks and ChelloMulticanal, and will feature series and specials from A+E Networks’ crime and justice programme catalogue – including The First 48, I Killed My BFF and Cajun Justice.
“We’re pleased to expand our relationship with Multichoice through the launch of CI in Portuguese for the growing audiences of Angola and Mozambique,” said Dean Possenniskie, managing director, Europe for A+E Networks.
Crime + Investigation is already available in Africa in English via Multichoice and in French via DStv. In total, A+E Networks claims that the channel reaches more than 61 million households in 85 countries.
