Angola, Chile channels find their Voice
Channels in Angola and Chile have become the latest to acquire Talpa Media’s singing competition format The Voice.
Banda TV in Angola and Canal 13 in Chile came away from MIPTV earlier this month having bagged local remakes. Banda’s version will go out in Portuguese in Angola and Mozambique, while Canal 13’s will be Spanish-language and launch in spring 2015.
Talpa, the production and distribution outfit from Endemol co-founder John de Mol, claims The Voice is currently watched by more than 500 million viewers globally.
