UKTV has acquired Crisis, the new US drama series starring Gillian Andersen.
The series, which is distributed by Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, follows the abduction of the president’s son and the children of other important figures.

In the US the show airs on broadcast net NBC, which launched it last month. UKTV has bought the 13x60mins show for its Watch channel.
“Crisis is an exciting and original conspiracy thriller full of unexpected plot twists,” said Steve Hornsey, general manager for Watch, said. “It captures the current enthusiasm for political intrigue in a fast-paced and dramatic character story, brought to life by a fantastic ensemble cast.”
