Pair of appointments at Talpa

Shashi Baboeram Panday and Barry Masclee have been appointed CFO and chief corporate officer respectively at John de Mol’s Talpa Holding.

Talpa Holding comprises a group of companies that each has its own management team including production and distribution division Talpa Media as well as Talpa Radio and Talpa Music.

Panday’s appointment follows the departure of Mark Ramakers earlier this year. He has been acting CFO since July having been at Talpa since 2007. Prior to that he was at Deloitte.

The chief corporate officer position is new. Masclee has been at Talpa since its inception in various positions and will take the new role. Prior to Talpa he was at Endemol.

Panday and Masclee will round out the four-strong Talpa Holding executive board alongside John de Mol and company CEO Pim Schmitz.
