News brief: Disney Asia buys WWI pigeons toon

Disney has acquired animated feature Cher Ami for several of its channels in Asia.

Disney Channel Taiwan, Hong Kong and China have all taken pay TV and mobile rights to the film, which tells the story of French messenger pigeons during WWI.

It is produced by Spain’s Accio and distributed by Imira Entertainment.
