News brief: Lifetime’s Witches to fly again

US cable channel Lifetime has ordered a second season of its female-skewed Witches of East End.

The commission is for 13 episodes, which will debut in 2014. Twentieth Century Fox Television-owned prodco Fox21 produces.

The show stars Julia Ormond, Mädchen Amick, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Rachel Boston as a family of witches living in a secluded seaside town.
