DHX makes UK hires following Ragdoll deal
Canadian content firm DHX Media has hired a UK brand director following its £17.4 million (US$28.3 million) acquisition of Teletubbies firm Ragdoll Worldwide.
Tor Bushell has joined the company from HIT Entertainment, where she was brand marketing and retail development director for Thomas & Friends.
Based out of DHX’s London officer, she will oversee brands including In the Night Garden, Teletubbies, Abney & Teal and Dipdap, all of which transferred to DHX when it acquired the commercial arm of Anne Wood’s Ragdoll Productions in September.
Bushell will work closely with Stephen Gould, who is now DHX UK’s commercial director after moving across from Ragdoll.
