TVNZ gets Breathless with ITV Studios output deal renewal

New Zealand broadcaster TVNZ has acquired period drama Breathless, as it renews its first look deal with ITV’s global sales arm.

As part of the renewed output agreement, which gives TVNZ a first-look at ITV Studios Global Entertainment’s programming, TVNZ has bought the Jack Davenport-starring 6x60mins Breathless (pictured), the 10x60mins season two of Mr Selfridge, 6x60mins magic show Tricked and 10x60mins Australian drama The Doctor Blake Mysteries.

TVNZ will also continue to air ITVSGE-distributed shows such as soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale and unscripted shows Jeremy Kyle, Come Dine With Me and Hell’s Kitchen USA.

The deal was brokered by ITVSGE’s sales executive for New Zealand, Jemma Losh.
