News brief: Foxtel hires former Seven West COO for senior role

Australia’s Foxtel has hired former Seven West Media COO Rohan Lund to take on the same role at the pay TV platform.

Lund replaces Peter Tonagh, who is moving to Foxtel stablemate News Corp Australia, having stepped down from his role at Seven Network parent Seven West last month. He begins the new role in January.

News Corp owns 50% of Foxtel, with telco Telstra holding the rest.
