French broadcasters buy Pac-Man

Allen Bohbot’s 41 Entertainment has sealed free and pay TV deals for its Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures series in France.

PAC-PacFree-to-air digital kids channel Gulli has picked up the free TV rights to the 39x22mins series. Its pay TV counterpart Canal J has taken pay rights. Both channels are part of the Lagardère group.

41 Entertainment has brought on Zodiak Kids to manage the development of the brand in France.

The series will debut on the French channels this autumn.

Caroline Cochaux, executive program director of Lagardère Active’s youth and family channels said: “We are happy with the storyline, animation quality and iconic nature and know the audience will like the show as well.”

Allen Bohbot, CEO of 41e added: “We have big plans for this property in 2014 in France.”
