News brief: Oz b’casters buy Indigo factual series
UK distributor Indigo Film and Television has inked factual deals with free and pay TV broadcasters in Australia.
Pay TV firm Foxtel has acquired twelve-part series Secret Museums. The half-hour show follows Professor Ronald Hutton as he explores curious and bizarre objects housed in Britain’s ‘secret’ museums.
SBS has acquired two shows from Indigo. The Australian public broadcaster has picked up Literary Landscapes, a 6x30mins tour of locations that inspired famous authors. It has also taken Portrait of a City, which profiles iconic European cities.
