Fox sets international dates for The Walking Dead 4
Fox International Channels has set the launch dates for the fourth season of megahit zombie series The Walking Dead.
FIC has the international rights to the show, which is on cable net AMC in the US. With previous seasons it has attempted to globally roll out the show simultaneously and efforts to get it onto its international channels as close as possible to the AMC air date are continuing with season four.
The sixteen-episode fourth season will be split into two eight-instalment parts and the first of these will roll out on 120 FIC channels the week starting October 13. The final eight will go out globally in February.
FIC says that season three of the show “consistently ranked as the number one show on pay TV” in the territories in which it was shown.
The new season follows the survivors of the zombie apocalypse as they adjust to life in the prison they have inhabited for safety.
