Sundance Channel launches dedicated Polish feed
AMC/Sundance Channel Global, the international division of AMC Networks, is launching a dedicated Polish feed of the Sundance Channel.
Sundance Channel Polska will feature Polish language on-air promos, versioned programming and grassroots promotions, and will replace the Sundance Channel’s Eastern European regional feed that’s currently available in the country.
The linear channel will be available in HD on the Eutelsat Hot Bird 13C satellite starting July 1 and will feature shows including first run original drama and documentaries.
“Poland continues to be one of the most important growth markets for Sundance Channel across Europe. We are excited to launch a tailored feed that will enable us to offer even more relevant programming and promotions locally. This development demonstrates our long-term commitment to providing high quality, independent-minded entertainment to audiences in Poland,” said Marco Frazier, VP, global distribution, AMC/Sundance Channel Global.
AMC/ Sundance said that the feed launch follows “explosive growth across Poland for Sundance Channel in recent months.” The pan-regional version of the channel is already available on three DTH platforms in the region and eight cable systems, including Cyfrowy Polsat, nc+, Orange, UPC Poland, TOYA and Multimedia Polska.
