News brief: CABLEready secures 220 hours of sales

US-based distributor CABLEready has secured deals with global broadcasters totaling more than 220 hours.

Included in the deals are ones with Discovery Turbo and Discovery Science in Latin America for reality series Saw Dogs and season two of Oddities, respectively. Elsewhere in Latin America, NBC has licensed Hollywood-themed Focus On.

Asian Food Channel, Australia’s Foxtel, Chello in Latin America, Turkey’s Digiturk, Spanish commercial channel Antena 3 and Sky New Zealand are among the other buyers.
