TF1 names new programming director
French broadcaster TF1 has named Fabrice Bailly as director of programming.
The appointments adds responsibility for French fiction programming to his existing portfolio, including live shows, arts and kids programming.
Bailly will report to Jean-François Lancelier, director-general of broadcasting, programming and production at TF1 Group.
The TF1 channel’s programming team will now comprise Bailly, Yann Labasque, deputy head of kids programmes, Nathalie Laurent, who will have responsibility for French fiction, Sophie Leveaux, with responsibility for international acquisitions and programming, Angela Lorente, director of reality programming and development and Matthieu Vergne, head of variety programming, games shows and general entertainment.
