Newen to remake Israeli singing talent show

French producer Newen Group has signed a format deal for an Israeli primetime talent series featuring talented children.

The deal, scored with distributor Keshet International, gives Newen remake rights to 12x60mins series Master Class, which has performed well on Israel’s Channel 2, produced by Tedy Productions. The format is set in a music school, where talented children are given vocal coaches and perform classic songs at weekly events.

Furthermore, a local version is lined up for China, following a deal Keshet struck with Shixi Media at MIPTV and Hungary’s TV2 launched its version last Saturday where it is claimed it scored a 32.3% share of 18-49s.
